SABER Privacy Policy

1. About SABER

SABER is a private software application used for media workflow automation and content management. It is operated by its owner for their own use, runs on the owner's own computers, and is not offered to the public. There is no public sign-up. The only Google account SABER is authorized to act for is the account of its owner and authorized user.

This policy explains what information SABER accesses through Google APIs, including the YouTube Data API, and how that information is used, stored, shared and deleted.

2. Google information SABER accesses

When the authorized user grants access through Google's consent screen, SABER requests these permissions (OAuth scopes):

• https://www.googleapis.com/auth/youtube.upload — to upload videos to the authorized user's YouTube channel and set their title, description and related metadata.
• https://www.googleapis.com/auth/youtube.readonly — to read information about the authorized user's own YouTube channel and videos.

With these permissions SABER accesses:

• the authorized channel's ID, title and custom URL, to confirm which channel it is acting for;
• the videos SABER uploads and their metadata, including the privacy status YouTube actually applied after upload;
• information about the authorized user's own videos, such as their IDs, publication details and statistics.

SABER does not request access to Gmail, Google Drive, Google Contacts or any other Google service, and it does not access information about other people's accounts.

3. How SABER uses this information

SABER uses Google user data only to provide its own features to its authorized user:

• publishing videos to the authorized user's YouTube channel, and only after the user has approved each upload;
• confirming that uploads went to the intended channel with the intended settings;
• reviewing how the authorized user's own videos perform, to plan and manage future content.

SABER does not use Google user data for advertising, and it does not use Google user data to develop, improve or train generalized artificial intelligence or machine learning models.

4. OAuth credentials and tokens

• Authorization uses Google's standard OAuth 2.0 consent flow in the user's own web browser. SABER never sees or stores the user's Google password.
• After consent, Google issues a refresh token. SABER stores it in a single file on the owner's own computer. The file is kept outside source control, and operating-system file permissions restrict it to the owner's user account and the system's administrative accounts.
• Short-lived access tokens are obtained from the refresh token when needed and are held in memory only.
• SABER does not print or log token contents, and does not send tokens anywhere except to Google.
• Communication with Google APIs takes place over encrypted HTTPS connections.

5. Storage of Google user data

Google user data that SABER keeps, such as channel identity, records of the videos it uploaded, and statistics about the authorized user's own videos, is stored only on computers controlled by SABER's owner. It is not stored on this website or in any third-party hosted database. This website does not collect, receive or store any Google user data.

6. Sharing and sale

• SABER does not sell Google user data.
• SABER does not share, transfer or disclose Google user data to third parties. Data goes only to Google itself, as needed to carry out the actions the authorized user requests (for example, uploading a video).
• SABER does not transfer Google user data to advertising platforms, data brokers or information resellers.
• Google user data may be disclosed only if required by law.

7. Google API Services User Data Policy

SABER's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

SABER uses YouTube API Services. By using SABER, the authorized user is also subject to the YouTube Terms of Service and the Google Privacy Policy.

8. Retention and deletion

• The refresh token is kept until the authorized user revokes SABER's access or the owner deletes it. When access is revoked, the stored token stops working, and the owner deletes the token file.
• Records and statistics about the authorized user's own videos are kept for as long as they are useful for managing that content, and are deleted by the owner when they are no longer needed.
• To have all Google user data held by SABER deleted, contact the address in section 10. Deletion is completed within 30 days.

9. Revoking access

SABER's access can be revoked at any time from the Google Account's third-party access page at https://myaccount.google.com/connections (also reachable from https://myaccount.google.com/permissions). Once access is revoked, SABER can no longer reach the account's YouTube data.

11. This website

This website, saberhormi.com, is a static information page. It uses no cookies, no analytics, no forms and no tracking, and it does not collect personal information from visitors. The hosting provider may keep standard technical server logs.

12. Changes

If SABER begins to access additional Google information or to use it in a different way, this policy will be updated, and the effective date above changed, before that happens.
